Made a couple sealed jar terrariums with dirt, moss, and plants I gathered from a nearby park, and a couple jars I had lying around. It's been a few days, and so far so good. I've even spotted some microfauna that must have come in with the soil; a couple isopods, and even a tiny baby snail! ^_^
Managed to keep this terrarium alive for three years now. Yay :)
Open Terrarium Day 1
This native terrarium isn’t sealed and is built in this beautiful deep dish which provides a unique top down view making my terrarium look like a mini planet!
Contents: Purple Foxglove, Chamomile, Garden Pansy, Moss (id unknown), Driftwood and an Amethyst
It's done!! I'm making a video of it but I have to edit it, so that should be up by tommorow.
One of the isopods in my terrarium shed its skin! :O
At least one of my jar terrariums seems to have some new growth in it! :D
Once night falls, it's Real Isopod Hours inside my big jar terrarium. I've even spotted what look like tiny baby isopods!
