Is it possible for a moster to be effected by a virus thats not the same as their assigned plant?

Yes! Though a tad rare, it’s not impossible. It honestly depends on what the virus is and what it does.

Like the cordycepts virus that’s taken over in Naturehorror- not all monsters are based off of mushrooms but they’ve all been infected regardless because the virus is really strong and affective against Nature monsters
