reyna headcanons because like- do i need a reason? my reason is i love her. toa spoilers up ahead. also apologies if some of these have already been done.
obviously she and nico are siblings but it did take him some getting used to once she became a hunter, and during the time when nico is adjusting she’ll send him little necklaces and rings from the various places she and the hunters go to
she’s nonbinary. she doesn’t care a lot about her pronouns, she/her is fine, but they/them is nice every once in a while. he/him is nice very rarely, but when he’s in a he/him mood, he is in a he/him mood yk.
she has several stick and poke tattoos that either she did by herself or she got thalia to help out with. they aren’t anything too fancy, just a little skull on her wrist to remind her of nico and a knife on her thigh, just because. she also has a lot of ear piercings, and likes wearing cuffs.
whenever she and nico are together they go on superrr long walks with aurum and argentum. they just vibe with nature.
after toa, she and leo become closer and bond over the differences and similarites in their cultures. (i saw a textpost a few months ago that had some funny convos between them but i can’t find it :(( )
she and leo also bond over how bisexual (or biromantic in reyna’s case) they are.
plus after jason dies, its nice to have someone else who cared about him in the same way to talk to. thalia is also included in this, and they become the “jason grace why did you have to die u asshole” squad. in the underworld, jason is afraid of what happens if any of them die bc he knows he’s going to get yelled at and tearily hugged.
also bonds with nico over being gnc/nonbinary. she’ll give him old dresses and things that are just collecting dust at camp jupiter.
she listens to country music ironically. she just thinks songs about what women were made for are hilarious. she pirates the music of course, but some of the hunters are really sick of songs about trucks now.
reyna started game night at the hunters and uh... several injuries have occured because of monopoly and sorry.
reyna and thalia are just. platonically romantic?? like thalia always knows when reyna is feeling bad and will go give her cuddles or read to her or something, and they just have such a deep understanding of each other.
