The amazing Amy Conrad brought us this glorious festival of color and texture today as a sneak peek for a bride to be. A picture cannot do it justice. We love all the wedding classics-roses, hydrangea, peonies, callas-but the introduction of seasonal blooms & foliages to a palette really gives a wedding a sense of time and place. We are so lucky to have vendors like Amy who keep our studio stocked with an ever expanding list of flower faves and who push our design boundaries with exciting new finds. It’s our goal to make every walk down the aisle a unique, custom experience for our clients. Our upcoming workshop Spring Herb Wreaths at Porches Cafe will feature two fantastic #ncgrown lavender varieties. 💜Lavender John of Carolina Lavender has a passion for lavender and all you need is one conversation to know it. Located in Gastonia, the farm grows several varieties of lavender and produces lavender-based products such as essential lavender oil, lavender lotions, lavender-infused honey and more. Lavender blooming season is just getting underway and the farm will begin opening to visitors wishing to walk the fields and shop the farm store this week. It’s Mother’s Day week and at EG we are making the whole week a garden party!
