Altered or different?

1x03 we first see Kate drawing Gibbs:

3x04 Ziva gives Kate’s sketchbook to Gibbs:

Notice the difference between the two:

1. The facial expression

2. The way his hair falls

3. The clothes he’s wearing

4. The angle of his face/body

Each of these things are different in both.

Either, Kate was working on this for a long time, and heavily altered it as she went along.

OR

Kate has sketched Gibbs more than once.

To be honest, both possibilities make me very excited, but it would be interesting to hear your thoughts?
