((Some kinda nsft HelluDan under the cut))
CL and I p much laid out that over the course of the day, everyone boned Dan separately (except Paul and Pat who double teamed him) though it was just boning, not a solidification of a relationship
NDFT 98: O Great Nothing.
You know that feeling when you remove a splinter? This is it. This got it out.
NDFT 97: Blushing
Yes.
NDFT 95: TEA
Please enjoy this description of how I like my tea:
1 steeped cup of black tea. Steeped a few minutes.
1 splash of Oat Milk (Soy if you saucy)
1 pinch of Sugar
x2 for your baby. Sweaters optional.
NDFT 94: Know Me
This marked my official “Season 3″ of NDFT! I started making new weekly comics and debuting them on Solrad.co every Monday sometime during the first Covid-19 lockdown of 2020. We are now in our second lockdown? It might be the 3rd. I haven’t seen people indoors in some time. At any rate- I’m going to be publishing this latest season here on my site as well as other comics I’ve been busy making. It helps with the general/winter/covid depression, you know?
The Night is Dark and Full of Terrors. ~ Seungho and Jihyun
A peaceful, quiet night.. That was what Jihyun had imagined when Seungho suggested that they watch a movie, not the chaos that ensued when Jihyun fell asleep watching The Evil Dead. Of course, being in Seungho's arms made it so much easier to watch such a horrifying film, but it did nothing to ward of the dreams that plagued her once her eyes finally slid shut.
The woods are always such a peaceful place at night. A 10 year old Jihyun walked through them on a regular basis during these times. As usual, she had run away from her foster family, but something was different. The air felt electric, yet there were no clouds to be seen. What's going on... she thought to herself. Jihyun was more hesitant than normal to walk through the woods that she so regularly visited. Her safe haven didn't feel so safe at the moment. Her feet were always silent, and the animals were typically quiet when she was around, save a couple of birds, so when a twig snapped, she immediately knew something was wrong. She whirled around, following the sound of the twig, and spotted a man with a malicious grin. "Well hello, girly," he said. "You're a long way from any home, are you lost?" Jihyun stepped back a little, eyes searching for an escape though they seemingly never left the man before her. "This is private property." she asserted firmly, glaring. "Yes, it is. And it so happens to be owned by my boss. You're trespassing, not me." The man stepped forward and a bolt of electricity shot through the air.
Jihyun whimpered softly in her sleep, one hand gripping the sheets as she curled up into a ball on the bed. Seungho stirred beside her.
Jihyun gasped, realizing she had crossed the line into government territory. She wasn't in her safe patch of forest outside her home- she was trapped. "I- I apologize, sir..." She told him softly, watching the air spark. "If you'll let me, I'll go straight back home- and stay. I won't trespass again, I'm very sorry..." The man tutted a little and shook his head, smirking. "No no, see.. It doesn't work like that." His tone! Jihyun turned and ran without another thought. Lightening bolts shot past her, always missing by centimeters. Not twenty meters from her property lines, she was hit in the back and set straight to the ground. A cry of pain slipped past her lips. Laughs surrounded her. When she looked up, there were men all around her- three came and held her down.
"No.." Jihyun whispered in her sleep, tears slipping from her eyes. Her frame shook as the memory continued, every bit of pain and fear tearing through her just like it had that night.
They took turns, testing their powers on her. Her shirt was torn open and marks were left on her back. By the time they finished with their cruelty, she had stopped crying- stopped hoping for someone to help. Now, she only wished for death. But rather than kill her like she thought they would, the men tied her up and carried her off. She lost any will to fight. Her eyes slid shut and she hung limply in one man's arms.
Jihyun faded in and out of consciousness for the next few days. There was a long trip, obviously a car ride, and perhaps a train, but the world was blurry. There was yelling once all the movement stopped. Someone snatched her from another's arms and she opened her eyes, vaguely making out someone in a white jacket. He yelled at the men for a very long time and then took the small girl to a separate room and had her checked over. They did their best to heal her.Gradually, she gained her strength back.
Jihyun tossed and turned, her brows furrowed. Soft whimpers would escape her lips but even in her sleep, she had enough control of her actions that those whimpers were all that escaped.
Then the tests began. One after another, fluids were pumped into her. Most made her body ache and she screamed in pain. Others just made her cold and feel like death. She began to sense when the doctors were coming. The tests always went. Everyday there was a new one. A new terror.
She only tried to run away once. The pain it brought her seemed to go on for years. Electricity is the enemy.
Jihyun awoke with a start, a cry of pain escaping her lips. She wrapped her arms around herself and looked around, sobbing softly. Stumbling over her feet, she stood and ran from the room, dropping into a ball in a corner. It was as though a demon had taken hold of her mind and pulled up all of her memories- torturing her slowly.
