Late 90s early 2000s rant in 3..2..

So I finished binge-watching this old Disney channel show that I couldn’t get out of my head for weeks and finally decided to look up, it was called “So Weird”. It was before Disney was...watered down, my followers can look it up but after exploring the tag I have to put in my input.

By finished I mean, I started at season 1 and finished at the first episode of season 3 because after a lot of pondering (and I mean a lot, I started in late July and I just got the guts to finish it today...I hate finishing good shows) I can’t watch the show with Fi gone. It’s just, I remember why I liked the show when I was a kid, I was Fiona, and sometimes I feel like I still am. I related to her and after doing extensive research and finding out what season 3 would have been like if Cara Delizia would’ve stayed I just can’t. The episode was fine until Fi let Annie keep her fathers ring after she realized that there was something special about Annie when the design came back. Like, really? After seeing that you just think to let her keep it? Like, “Oh look someone to take my place with this freaky ghost stuff, take the main thing that tied me and my dead father to it for years no biggie”, I can’t deal. Annie doesn’t speak to me like Fi does and what even happens in season 3? Do people actually start to somewhat believe or take interest in the paranormal once it starts happening to Annie cuz if so...smh I’m good sis, enjoy.  I’m just happy I found all the seasons and episodes so I would relive this memory and get more content for my blog. I wish I could talk to somebody else about this show. But yeah, team Fiona all day! Rant over.

Random Details from So Weird’s Lost (s1e12)

Kyla Pratt's appearance in So Weird was a rare instance when the guest star didn't share the screen with any cast member.

While Ned works on the bus, there's a split second of Clu and Jack playing hacky sack.

In Angel we heard that Irene and Ned were in the bunks (that Jack and Clu use), and now Molly is in Fi's bed. Apparently the kids are the only ones with rooms on the bus!

Fi's inbox is surprisingly neat compared to other times we see it. Note the *.* email on the top left and Universal Gateway across the bottom. Star Dot Star software is the brainchild of Tad Raxall.

This is the second episode in a row without Irene, and after this scene Ned doesn't appear again until the next episode.

Return to Snowy River is Kamilah's favorite movie.

Guest stars Candus Churchill and Dionne Warwick played Kamilah's mom and aunt. They shared the screen with an unidentified older actress as Kamilah, but they didn't share scenes with Kyla Pratt.

Bill is part of the reason Fi connected to Kamilah, but let's not give him much credit beyond that for saving her.

One of the few times we see Kamilah happy is when she speaks of her favorite baseball player, her dad.
