New project in the works
Throughout the course of a project, the design may change. Whether it’s because certain elements don’t transfer well from a 2D sketch to a final crocheted project, or because you made some miscalculations along the way and kept them because you like them. Overall though, I’m pretty pleased with how my little penguin turned out. Now on to some other projects.
Jumping back into a project. Nothing too crazy here, just a penguin. I drew a sketch a while back, followed up by some more sketches looking into different styles. Ended up going with a design similar to my initial sketch and modeled a rough mock up in Blender 3D to see what it would look like in 3 dimensions. I liked the result so I jumped in and started crocheting. So far I’m around a fourth of fifth into crocheting the body.
Made a quick amigurumi of my favorite YouTuber, Jacksepticeye (complete with Flamingo Short Action).

This one took a little longer than I expected, considering I started it in early December as a Christmas present for my girlfriend... well, better late than never!
My Jigglypuff Amigurumi pattern is now up for sale for $5 on both Craftsy and Ravelry:
Craftsy: https://www.craftsy.com/crocheting/patterns/jigglypuff-amigurumi/491648
Ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/jigglypuff-9
First pattern of the year is up. I want this to be a learning experience for both you and me, so if there’s any questions or issues with the pattern, please let me know and I’ll either answer the question and/or update the pattern accordingly.

Call for Ideas
Back in December I posted a snowman pattern for people to use, and before that I posted a very brief guide on my method for making amigurumi, and I would like to continue that trend of posting useful material.
What I would like to know is: what would all of you fine readers like to see from me in terms of ‘educational’ material or patterns? If anything at all? Preferably I’d like to post things that are more educational and how to do a specific thing, such as how to make shapes like dragon wings instead of just a dragon pattern; but I leave that up to my followers.
And so I make this claim (which I hope to stick to): If I get at least 20 requests for a certain guide or pattern, I will make that guide or pattern. One exception though: I will not make/provide patterns for things I’ve already made. I’m sorry, but I don’t feel like remaking things that I’ve already made.
I hope to do one per month if there’s enough ideas, but most likely it might be every two months depending on how busy I am. Once I do make said guide/pattern, I’ll post it here, for free! (although I will ask people to credit me as the pattern’s creator and link back to the source pattern).
So with that, I ask you fine people: what ideas do you have?
