New Sobek statue, this is my second one of the Great Crocodile Lord. My other one is in fully crocodile form, while this one is anthropomorphic which I personally prefer. The paint work on this statue is very good in comparison to the Nebet-Het and Selket statues. But I might still repaint him to match the rest. I adore the detail of the bulls tail on the back, and absolutely love the crown 💖
Ive started a collection of Hachette statues with Nephthys. I really like the idea of matching statues that are of similar heights, all face forward and that have correct iconography. So I’m kinda annoyed I didn’t commit and start saving up to collect these years ago! Though they maybe in dire need of a repaint, poor Nebet-Het looks rather miserable and a little... white... for my liking.
