Another "sat for ages unfinished" House Flipper 2 build, finally wrapped up with simple landscaping. This was the "House left behind" lot, one I've done before. Twice. This time according to the old WIP post, I went with a non-strict shell challenge. It probably qualifies as a foundation challenge, aka staying with the original building footprint as the only constraint on new construction. Really like how the project turned out, but had completely memory-holed it until loading up some of my unfinished projects last night.
Let's venture inside and have a look at the main living area, with a lot of open floorplan going on:
Down the dip into what used to be the garage, we now have a spacious bedroom, plus a bathroom that may have yoinked a wallpaper pattern from the original build. I noticed that during before/after pics from the sale slideshow.
Time to go upstairs, where some of the more difficult architectural choices ended up well worth the time spent wrangling the end result together:
Speaking of the sale slideshow, it was kinda funny getting what felt like a low offer on the house, but I'm so used to working on lots that sell for a mil or two lately. I hope the virtual owner enjoys their new virtual home, it's definitely sat vacant for way too long.
