❤ - voice

I don’t quite have a voicecanon for Nekkam, it’s probably sort of deep but still suitably nerdy — not nasal, but nerdy. Dentes’ voice is basically Dr. Stein’s voice from the Soul Eater dub.

❦ - lips

Since Nekkam doesn’t spend a lot of time outside, his lips are probably pretty soft and moist; probably rather full, too. Dentes, on the other hand, probably has drier, thinner lips.

♮ - body type

Dentes is tall (6’0”) and skinny, without a lot of muscle tone. Nekkam has a bit more muscle as well as a bit more body fat, and he’s 5’7”.

✮ - sleeping habits

Nekkam’s sleeping schedule is kind of all over the place because he doesn’t really have a lot of obligations. Dentes on the other hand has an actual job that requires him to be up at a certain time, so he maintains a stricter schedule.

✿ - laugh

Dentes’ laugh is sort of… odd and a bit creepy, especially when he’s on a topic that brings out his odd and creepy side (i.e. teeth, blood). The way he laughs with his matesprit is a bit more pleasant, though. Nekkam’s is a more awkward laugh, like he’s never quite sure if it’s something he should find funny.

✍ - writing style

Dentes is a medical professional, and as such his writing is practically illegible. Nekkam writes kinda sloppily but you can still read it without too much trouble.

Nekkam now has the option of swapping out his hat for a wig — his matesprit (a limeblood who has to conceal her white hair) makes them. For the time being, though, he’s sticking with the striped hood, perhaps because it belonged to his ancestor and he had to risk so much to get it.

Sweeps in the future (but not many — maybe about two or three), Maxi’s views on the hemospectrum will go from “don’t care” to “fuck that noise with a rusty spoon”. This will happen because a couple highbloods will barge into her hive and break her legs. Maybe kill her lusus too, I haven’t decided.

Pyptil has a strong distaste for subjugglators; she sees them as pan-less brutes who can’t take much of anything seriously. Of course, because she is hemoloyal, she would never ever say so to their faces.

Vallie really dislikes being called “highblood”. The word has some connotations that she is very uncomfortable with.

Never mentioned before/briefly hinted at, eh

- Pyptil has trust issues, questioning the real motives of anyone who tries to get close to her, due to an incident when she was 7 sweeps old. She was tricked into pailing by an asshole who claimed he needed genetics for the drones, and then he mocked her after the deed was done. She blames herself for not realizing the whole thing was a trick — and for not cutting off his bulge afterward.

- Nekkam actually did try FLARP once — it’s how he found out some basic details about his ancestor, and also where he got his striped hood from. Since he barely managed to not die in the process, he hasn’t done it since.

- Speaking of FLARP, Dentes’ old matesprit got killed doing that about a sweep ago. Within the same month, his kismesis was culled by the drones because she could only fill one of the two pails (never found a matesprit). Dentes was kind of shellshocked by the whole thing, and closed his business for a couple weeks while he tried to sort himself out.

- Vallie once tried skinny-dipping (when she was sure nobody would see her), and wants to try it again with a matesprit once she has one.
