Daedra paused for a moment, seemingly debating on something. She would admit that she was playing herself rather cautiously. While her more outlandish plans usually ended favorably, she knew she didn't have the luxury of a higher up to simply stand at her back in support. Not anymore...

"Well it's---" Daedra sucked her lips in as she tried to think of the wording. "In truth, I'm trying play the enemy's bluff. Their position reads as very intentional to me. There's a reason they're doing it, and I think they're banking a great deal on us being unaware of it. Currently--- I haven't figured out what it is specifically."

Of course they attracted the worst of the fae guards, some of the officials were now after them, and Ana that one was chasing them with a small team of fae guard soldiers.

"...You had to blast their dumb airship...." Lawrence stated on top, before looking forward into the purple and pink woods. "...Head into that portal, we can at least stay somewhere else till they....lose interest."

"You got it boss." They were riding Andrew's summon as they fled, Ana was no summoner to underestimate- and would slip into another world.

The group fell out the sky right above what looked like a giant castle, and luckily didn't damage anything. Landing infront of this school they'd start fleeing once more till Lawrence jumped off to fight, accompanied by Lily, the group's golden retriever.

"Lawrence, Lily- don't!" A girl with brown hair and blue eyes looked over the side, and finally, the fae guard would surround them, but mostly Ana would take the lead.

"You should of left well enough alone summoners, now I'll bring your heads to Master Wren." The young woman took out her long blade. "Paluma!" and right alongside here was a beast with two heads aloft in a cloud.

"JUNO" Lawrence called out, and Lily would bark summoning her summon as well., the pair ready to fight these people for their lives infront of this massive castle. And they seemed to be attracting onlookers.

Settling In

It had been about a month since Linhardt and Mona’s fight. Melina had gotten to the two of them to knock some sense into them and Linhardt came away from the discussion knowing what he had to do. It had taken him a while to get it ready but today was the day he was going to do something special for Mona, make their relationship even more official.

She had moved into his room pretty easily, though she still went to her old room from time to time. It was a bit cramped since she was growing more and more by the day, but Linhardt didn’t mind one bit because he knew that it was important for her to have as much peace and space as she needed.

When he came back from treating injuries and washing up he found her laying on the bed and he smiled as her as he came into the room. “Mona, I think I want to go somewhere special for dinner tonight, what do you think about that?” He asked her as he placed a decent sized box on the table next to the bed. “I even got you a nice dress that’ll fit you for quite a while and that we can save for when you are pregnant again.”

A single motion of one hand, emotionless stare as she talked about the works and applications of magic in a mercenary corp, almost reverent given how rare it was for a mage of any real caliber to enter into a contract that was as fleeting and deadly as that. Eyes would glance around and she would clear her throat. That monotone voice echoed through the room. “Mona, if you are going to be in class you should focus on the studies rather then on Hubert.” Perhaps that was cruel but she was a bit....frustrated when the class didn’t focus properly, that was why she left so many behind on missions, the ones that couldn’t focus when it wasn’t important couldn’t exactly be expected to focus during, that was one of the first things she learned as a mercenary.

“After all, if one doesn’t focus then....” Suddenly a spark of light would flicker at her rear end, sparking a jolt like a feeling of electricity surging from her rear end to up her spine, it was rather weak but....it would drive her point home.

No one in the class laughed, many had received these examples before, and so no one was judging the newcomer, it was part of why the Eagles had grown to love her, she very much used mercenary tactics, including being direct and teaching with example even if said example was painful, to prepare them for a real battlefield.

😖 - Bury their face in my muse’s chest

tending to the horses had become something of a second nature. the professor often made him do it with other students and there were quite a few horses to take care of. caspar was probably never going to use one though. it didn't suit his fighting style at all. he loved being up close, swinging his axe or fists and dodging the other blows effectively without wasting too many movements or power. hands on the horses's cute snout he spoke a few quiet words of praise before moving onto tending to the mane, using a soft brush. when he was finished after a rather long time ( he liked to spend his time with animals, just talking and watching them ) he spotted mona standing a few meters away from the horses.

“ uh, they’re not gonna brush themselves, “ caspar reminded her, stepping over to the horse, but once she tried approaching it, the horse started breathing a little louder, showing signs of what he’d call uncomfortable, probably noticing how much she was afraid of them. “ it’s alright, we can do it together. “ he walked over to her, wanting to give her a pat on the shoulder, but she just threw herself at him, hiding her face against his chest. “ uhm... i-i can also do it alone, i don’t mind. “

“Well then.” Sylvain had invited Mona back to his room, this time just to play some games.  Had to at least put up the pretense that they could do more than have sex, right?  But it was raining now, the wind howling and whipping branches against his window.  “Don’t think you’re going anywhere any time soon.”
