More people need to talk about Pix being friends with Nemo and Zero!!! Especially the scene in CoS: Nighttime Theater when Nemo/Zero comforts Pix over its stage fright!! I've seen some people interpret it in a shippy lens and no hate to those who do, but their friendship is so sweet and I don't think it should be pushed aside for romance.

Yeah, I never understood the shippy lens people saw it through. I always saw Nemo/Zero as aromantic tbh.

I tend to play Zero because I'm a filthy casual (light-hearted) and blasting from behind crafted gear and summoned constructs is a lot easier than anything Nemo's got going on.

Yeah, they're definitely easier to play as. Nemo has a pretty high barrier to entry since their skills are more difficult to pull off, but it's equally pretty rewarding to master.

I love how Zero and Nemo aren't gender options, they're just character design and skill options and you get to choose gender separately. It's a really cool idea and it was well-executed, too!

And I like how you get to pick the gender of both, not just the one you picked! It's a nice way of avoiding the whole "protag character not picked is the opposite gender of the one picked" thing a lot of other games do.

Question, who do you guys pick for your starter? I know speedrunners prefer Nemo since as the Warper they're able to unlock fast travel quicker, but I've heard Zero is more suited to a normal playthrough as the Wefter

Personally, I alternate between playing Nemo and Zero, just bc I love them both.

Yep! And the one you don't pick is the one that gets flung out of the airlock in the prologue that you then have to rescue.
