those little microaggressions like slut shaming contribute to a culture that pushes women, especially improper women to the sides and excuses violence against them. i think its important to address it.

My point was that starting a huge argument over the internet with someone you don't know about it is not going to do any good. As said in my post, I feel strongly about the issue. However I do not think it is my place to attempt to change someone else's opinion and get angry and hostile at them if they refuse. Bri also wasn't aggressively slut-shaming. She most likely has the same opinion that many people on the tag have, and it isn't that radical. The drama created from it made it seem like she was some horrible slut-shaming girl when in all reality she does not feel that way and if you talked to her, you would see that.

There is a difference between addressing a problem/standing up for your beliefs and causing a GIGANTIC confrontation and unneeded drama. People are always going to disagree. That doesn't make one person good and another bad, it just makes your opinions different. The only point I'm making is nothing good is being done by attacking each other and being hostile. You can feel free to disagree but this is the way that my religious philosophy and life experience has led me to think.
