Natal Neptune, Conjunct Transit Pluto.
Trying to piece together an almost 10 year transit, is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. You know it's presence has been crucial; but pinpointing it is damn near impossible.
This transit began for me on January 23, 2008 and it ends on February 3rd, 2018.
So what did I experience during that time? I can say that I think it may have caused a thing or two to occur-- the biggest one being a major transformation of my over all idea of spiritualism as a whole. But what exactly.. Happened?
One of the strangest things about this transit, that I'm fairly certain was due to both Pluto and Neptune, and their uncanny intuition enhancing abilities-- is that I experienced heightened Neptunian brain fog. With natal Neptune in my third house, this goes without question. But this, this was different. This fog was accompanied by a woosh of intuitive flow, which sometimes brought profound insight-- yet others caused me to really question my Plutonian obsessive/paranoid qualities. I am, after all, a Pisces Sun, Scorpio Moon and Rising. Which might also have something to do with why this one is so tough to peg.
Oddly enough, the weirdest part of this awareness-- is that I had felt the brain fog before. It wasn't until tonight while I was lying in bed unable to sleep, the I realized that there's a good chance as to why I do remember feeling a similar fog as a child. My parents have Neptune in Scorpio-- we have Neptune/Pluto via Synastry.
This is literally an answer I've been in search of throughout my entire time studying astrology. Why now, and why does this feel so god damn familiar? Neptune alone doesn't do this (again, I began studying after the conjunction formed) it takes two to tango, this time.
With that being said, I can't help but wonder. Will I experience a shift when it's all said and done? I'm sure from an intuitive perspective, this transit had quite a bit to do with my inability to concentrate on occasion.
I'm sure it also had something to do with a bit of awakening on my behalf as well. I'm guessing that I won't feel as drawn to learn about what lyes beneath. Or, potentially a better way to say that would be that I won't feel that almost 'obsessive' drive to seek out a spiritual answer, to all of the wonderfully random (yet, not random) experiences in my life.
I do wonder, will I not feel as strong of a drive to heal the darkness in the lives of others? Pluto tends to pick up on what's left unsaid, and the Clairaudience of my Neptune placement tends to want to step in and wash the pain away with a bit of compassion and an ample dose of pure intention.
I'm really not sure. But I have decided that on this Capricorn New Moon (3rd house as well, ironically) I need to begin journaling again. I need to be able to look back on things like this, and gain a deeper understanding. I do it daily for clients, it's about time I start tracking my own conscious development as well-- rather than attempting to rely on my memory.
So, here's to starting something new✨
