Longing for a Nostalgic LA Weekend?

Visit these restaurants where Hollywood legends used to hang their hats!

With Los Angeles becoming a new hub for fine dining and cuisine, it can be so difficult to choose one of the endless restaurants opening. Sometimes, it’s better to go with what you know, and even better, what Steve McQueen, Elizabeth Taylor and Frank Sinatra knew back in the day.

Neptune’s Net in Malibu is one of the only places where you can get a seafood dinner for three under $20 with an ocean view. Located right on the PCH in Malibu, Neptune’s Net has been the go-to destination for bikers, tourists, locals and a few other customers you may have heard of…Elizabeth Taylor, Steve McQueen and Dennis Hopper since their opening in 1956. If it’s good enough for Elizabeth Taylor, it’s good enough for us!  

If you want to stay close to home this weekend, check out Chez Jay, another low-key option where you’ll be welcomed by the crunch of peanuts under your feet and the ocean breeze. Frank Sinatra, Natalie Wood and Richard Burton once frequented this local hangout and who can blame them? Located right in the heart of Santa Monica, we don’t need any more convincing!
