Took half silicone bracket from the other SSD. Also found out I was pressing the wrong key to get into BIOS (the correct key was F2 when I was stupidly pressing F12). OS is booting and everything is upgraded now!
This week
I'm just giving everyone a blanket heads up that the week ahead is going to be really, really busy for me in real life so I may be slow to respond. I'm working really hard to edit and prep some stories/updates for posting, but it's going to depend heavily on how the days go if those things go up.

Nothing much!
Just came back from watching episode 7 for the second time, this time with my dad. :’) I was very pleased that he enjoyed it a lot, having only enthusiastic comments about how good a continuation to the series it was!
I have to say, I enjoyed it a lot too: seeing it again let me take in background stuff more and what I really appreciate is how lovable the new characters are, the locations are lovely to see (especially those wide shots where the people look so small in comparison).
I don’t think I ever asked, but what were your favourite parts or things about The Force Awakens?
Yesterday, I accidentally discovered a bookstore that has so many cool Star Wars books that I immediately wanted. I was wide-eyed and drooling.
I did get two things I’d wanted ages ago: William Shakespeare's Star Wars: The Phantom of Menace and Book of Sith. *o*
My other top faves were:
The Art of The Force Awakens
A set of 100 postcards of iconic Star Wars movie scenes
Where’s the Wookiee, a ‘Where’s Wally’ type of book with awesome detailed illustrations
Star Wars Doodles, which I gotta find the artist for (because the cartoony style is perfection and very inspirational for me). It had adorable drawings of Ewoks, Rebels, Imperials, Sith... And it had the cutest prompts: one of them was to help Moff Tarkin and draw his missing boots (!)
*slams fist on table* More EdwardxWinry fanfiction, because if FMA won’t give them a proper romance I want to read it elsewhere, damn it.
I just don't think I'll ever find any animes as good as Fullmetal Alchemist and Modoka Magica. They've ruined me and set an impossible anime standard. I'm giving up hope. I cry. Much like how I cry while watching them.
