F2F: Nerdy Friends [Sam&Theo]

Cereal for dinner. Cereal for breakfast. It was safe to say he was still getting used to the independence thing. That and setting an alarm.

Well, his Dad had rung him at ten to seven to make sure he was up in time. Putting on his new uniform and buttoning up the blazer. Theo was nervous as hell but he couldn’t be more excited to go and meet his new friend. It was a journey then could start together and it gave him some confidence.

When he’d double checked he had his notebook and pencil case, the boy left his apartment. And then returned again to pick up his keys and lock the front door.

He took the long staircase down to the lobby and fixed his hair in the process. Today would be a long day and he was frightened of being picked on. However, Sam had told him he could count on him to have his back. He trusted it was true.

Standing in the bottom of the lobby before he spied the blonde haired boy, he was much taller and muscular. Then again Theo could make anyone look twice as tall and built when stood next to him. He was a twig and content with himself.

“Hi! S-sam. I’m Theo” he chirped with a grin before he brain registered his stutter was in full force with the nerves this morning. Shifting awkwardly as it was so easy to talk through text or a message. You don’t stutter through text.

“Shall we g-go?” he suggested as he had worked out it was a five minute walk to the subway station and the train left in ten minutes.
