There are loads of bee species where the men have no stingers. There's also solitary species which are overall way less likely to sting because they aren't protecting a queen or hive. Those ones also tend to be bigger and have varying colors. I like to think he'd enjoy the mourning bee or teddy bear bee.
Oh wow, thank you for the info! I myself really like bees, and yet I haven't really researched the ones that may not be able to sting. I know some of them won't attack you in order to protect their hive or similar, but I didn't know there were species that overall don't have the means to sting you. I blame my laziness honestly lol
Also now I'm a little disappointed those little guys aren't indigenous in my country, because just look at them!
First one is the mourning bee, and the second is the teddy bear bee. How an insect can be so adorable is beyond me :')
Now both me and König can be reassured that bees won't hurt us, at least if we meet these fluffy guys!
