#Latergram 10/9/16 Finals sets of 22 of 22 sets/days of doing 22 push-ups a day to raise awareness and donations for The National Alliance to End Veteran Suicide @NA2EVS. I'm so honored & humbled to have been able to fulfill this challenge. The challenge continues, daily. I challenge myself yes to keep doing better push-ups, but also challenge myself & each of you reading to think of others every single day & know that giving is receiving & loving always beats out hating, or doing nothing at all. ❤️ Dark & out of focus but this is my final video for my final 3 sets of my 22 days of 22 push-ups challenge at the end of my 16 mile long training run today for upcoming @NYCmarathon! 3 final people I nominate are: 1 (Day/set 20): Bryan Christian, a most inspiring to me & surely many, young filmmaker I met at a film/tv industry event some 3 years ago! 2 (Day/Set 21): Edwin Canelo. A friend, human, husband & father I respect & cherish so much & who I know is there for those in need, including our veterans. 3 (Day/Set 22) My final nomination to my Brother, Alani, who already did some push-ups with me & who stands behind this amazing cause & his once best friend, the veteran we both knew & love who was directly affected by the despair of the illness that is clinical depression & who's life was not spared by it, Ricky Jones. All of my push-ups are for Ricky & the other veterans who fell into despair to take their own lives. When the weather is not so great and we @East_Coast_Ducati_Riders! can't ride motorcycles, what do we do, we bring the fun inside and we did just that go-karting! And of course you gotta do push-ups with your helmets on for this amazing cause! Awesome @Glenn_Hans12, Mayra @pinkducati, Alexandru & @RonCardona did it with! All Lives that Care About Other Lives Truly Matter. Honored and thankful for the service of our veterans, service men and women and especially @NYPD! Times Square, 1 of the most heavily protected spots in the world where luckily 2 @NYPD officers from a large squad, Sargent Mavrik, a veteran himself & Officer Tyburczy wearing some 40+ pounds of extra gear both did these 22 push-ups with me for these brave men and women who didn't make it a next day at the hands of tragic suicide. I'm so thankful for these officers & all officers like them who are here to protect & serve every American regardless of color, make and creed. Another long day at work and just tired but servicemen and women know what real tired is & we don't, so I do my 22 tonight, late for veterans who've had to leave us through the despair of suicide. Today I nominate a woman that inspires me deeply whom I probably do not tell enough, fellow member of @TheMissFires. & now the best mother to beautiful little Gabe, wife to awesome human & wrencher @TomHouse516 with their next little one on the way, Adriana @adecer22. I'm excited for her, Gabe & Tom to do some push-ups. Today, a Monday almost like too many other Mondays but we must remember the veterans that will not see another Monday and namely those that fell victim to the illness and epidemic that is Veteran suicide. So yes, tired and in my pajamas I do my 22 push-ups today and will for the next 9 days for those who can't. Today I nominate a true warrior woman I'm honored to call a friend and is now all the way across the pond but has amazed me with her physical feats, conquering triathlon, never having ridden a bike bridge past few years and both Boston and NYC marathon finishes in the past year, Mylissa @MylissaT168. These push-ups can be done all at once or in several sessions broken up during the day and on consecutive days or else we know with crazy, busy lives-whenever you can do all 22 days. In my Hometown, Salem, Massachusetts right by the Samantha the Witch Statue, random part of Salem history & lucky me sharing in these push-ups with my 2 Big Bros Alani & Michael, & we got to do them in honor of Ricky's & other Veterans who've taken their own lives. In more Massachusetts Spirit, today, I nominate Mr Pats nation himself, Timothy @Timlefev. Tim who's on the road as a musician with the amazing #TTB and other amazing bands the majority of the days in the year now, will be in NYC this week & still manages to get cycling & other amazing workouts in, can hopefully carry on this push-ups torch for this amazing cause!
