So. I bought a new car.

And I mean, new new. Like, less than ~100 Km on it, and I put those on it when I test drove it.

I've got the financing all set up, I've got the insurance all set up, and I've got my bank draft to pay my down payment.

It's a 2024 Honda HR-V Sport-B in like a gloss gunmetal (idk what Honda calls it, but looks kinda dope). It's not like, an amazing car that will stand out or anything, but it's the first brand-new car I've ever purchased and I am fucking ecstatic about it.

So... This happened yesterday. I owned 2 cars w 2 car payments and insurance on both. Traded both in for this KIA Niro hybrid. It's a bit too low (it's easier to get in and out of higher SUVs or minivans) it passes the ponytail test, I have good visibility, and 55+mpg. Plus it's pretty.

It does not, however, have a spare tire or jack. These are no longer standard?

I pushed for, and got, a better trade than they first offered. They didn't bully me (either they were just nice ppl, or bringing my ex along helped).
