Hello wonderful new followers! First, thank you for choosing to follow my blog. I’m really thankful you feel it’s worthy of your dash. :)

I post primarily about KDramas. You’ll see my gifs and other wonderful content created by talented people. I also write (sometimes very opinionated) commentaries about the dramas I watch.

I also post and create content for Chinese dramas and US dramas/movies.

Finally, I also create and reblog EXO content. 

If you do not wish to see something on your dash, feel free to block “kdrama”, “cdrama”, “non kdrama” or “exo” as those are tags I use when posting each specific content.

There’s a good handful of new yous so.. here’s the basics.

I’m Jes, short for Jesika - most people on here call me Jes but if you like Jesika thats cool too! The only people who use Jesi are the ones who knew me from before I was 13, so, it just confuses me now.

I’m 30! Yes really! My birthday is August 27, 1987

I have spent the last 6 months in France and am currently on my way back to the US

I play a bunch of characters! Mostly Harry Potter related. My main character is Tonks but I’ve started playing Harry Potter himself a lot recently and branched out with Teddy as well.

If you wanna see something, a character, a thread, an incorrect quote, a headcannon, a video, just ask!! I love using your ideas!

I am happy to talk to anyone under 18 in an older internet sister/ mentor capacity but please understand that it is not okay for me to be close friends with you if you are not an adult. I am always willing to give advice 1 on 1.

I also periodically do advice videos! But I try to avoid answering too many advice asks on this blog as they can be triggering for people and this blog is a happy place. If you send them to JesReally I will try to answer them there.

If you send me a negative ask (ie. Mean and vindicative rather than constructive), or leave a negative comment (like - “I’ll just go gouge my eyes out now”) or you are a porn bot who reblogs my things with cam links - I will immediately and without remorse use the block button! It’s a win-win, you no longer have to see my content and I no longer have to endure your negativity in my happy place. (I do not engage with internet trolls and I encourage everyone to do the same - DON’T FEED THE TROLLS)

Otherwise I am quite friendly, I promise! Feel free to message to say hi, ask questions, interact with characters, reblog with your own characters! This is an interactive creative space and I love to hear from you.

New follower PSA

I’ve gotten a handful of new followers recently, including some fandom names I recognize—hi!! 😁  So I figured I’d do another one of these new follower things, since apparently it’s been way too long.  (I blame college, endless distractions, and the constant bombardment of political idiocy in the last year-plus.)

Hi, my name is Tom aka “bug”...

Hopelessly addicted to Disney and Frozen, which constitutes most of the reblogs here.

Portions of Star Wars, Steven Universe, Supergirl, The Lord of the Rings, The Good Place, Person of Interest, Avatar: TLA and The Legend of Korra thrown in.  Also smaller amounts of US politics (tagged #politics) and social issues, cute animals esp. cats and otters, a few celebrity crushes, video games, computer stuff, etc.  I have a thorough tagging system, so you can filter out whatever you want.

Occasional Frozen fanfic writer (#bugfics), when the Three Conditions of Being-Able-to-Write are met; fanfic masterpost is here.  Also sometime GIF-maker; not taking requests, but plan to at some point.

Post frequency is currently between 50 and 60 posts per day, depending on how many Olaf’s Frozen Adventure spoilers are floating around. 😅
