after listening to the 3 semper femina tracks from mastertapes (they are all here), i definitely love soothing the most. wild fire is fantastic, but we knew that. i think nouel will be a grower -- the coffee house vibes are strong.
tbh the greatest thing i could wish for a person is that someone in their life embodies the bass line of ‘soothing.’
New Laura Marling album “Song For Our Daughter” out 10th April
since i don’t care about anything else, and listened to ‘soothing’ 20 times today: how do y’all feel about it compared to lead singles from other albums? i know a lot of ppl had v strong opinions about short movie (album and track) as a follow up to oiwae/medley especially, and i am super interested to know.
