Found this in an old notebook from the Summer of 2011:
Two guys sitting in the booth behind me. I can’t see the one right behind me, but the other one, the one opposite him, looks like a down on his luck version of Jonathan Davis from KoRn. He’s in the process of schooling his drinking buddy:
"There’s this new music,” he begins, “it’s mostly--New Orleans and Denver, Colorado are the two biggest places for it right now.”
“What is it?” his buddy asks.
“It’s called dubstep, and it’s big in New Orleans and Denver.”
“What’s it sound like?”
“It’s like new-age techno.” He then invited the guy to come with him somewhere later in the week.
“I’ll come if I can make it” his friend said, “I’m on probation.”
