My new (more permanent) space is finally coming together after being evicted by folks I thought actually cared about me at the start of the pandemic here. Ironically it’s much nicer than the place I had at the same price. (They run Savannah’s only circus troupe, feel free to ask me about it, I’m not scared of telling anyone the truth about people.) This last couple years has been full of big emotional blows like that. It can be really tough to process thoughts like “I can’t really trust anyone” or “No one will ever give me the same level of consideration I give them” but that’s just life. People can be selfish, cruel, and callous. They can also be humble, loving, and generous. Whenever I catch myself on a downward thought spiral about humanity and the people who have hurt me lately, I try to shift focus to the folks who care, who show it proactively, and ways in which I know I’m loved and cared for. I stand firm in the karmic belief that when you are a bad person those actions come back on you, just like the good things you do find their way back. Even during this global tragedy I have a lot to be grateful for and I’m counting my blessings. I’m so utterly grateful to my friends who reach out, who show me compassion, and proactively give me kindness and support. Thanks for being my saviors in a world that can be completely unkind. You know who you are, you da real MVP’s. <3 #newplace #newspace #newsabout #grace #karma #christmaslights #frands #love #magic #allnew #appliances #floors #thatdontsuck #big #kitchen #nice #bathrooms #working #fireplace #happyhome #happyheart #movingon #from #careless #folk #karmaisabitch #whenyouare (at Savannah, Georgia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDBqFJHshq7/?igshid=sh30vcpomc9t
