people being angry that welshcakes were served at wimbledon speaks very loudly of these people's xenophobia because their reaction was (as paraphrased from the article i just read) "what is this welsh rubbish?!" ... i mean it's not exactly the Correct place to have one (traditionally they're more associated w funerals - at least in my slate country background, if not poor/working class life) but to react as if a welshcake (which is a flat scone made on a frying pan and served with a smear of butter instead of a Fuckload of cream btw) was the world coming to its end says quite a lot.
