So, many of you have seen New York State Department of Transportation's post about the new 2 stage plow as I did just now. Even though I have tons of photos of the newest generation of NYS*DOT Class 8's, I decided to stop and photograph them anyways, figuring a lot of my photos were of the model year earlier. So, I see the post this morning, looked through my digital warehouse of photos, and sure enough..... Info fom the NYS*DOT Facebook Page post: " Notice the second blade located directly behind the front plow. It conforms to the road surface to clear snow more efficiently.
