Next Gen HATCHERs on the last night of a 3 day summit. One of the things I’ve grown to adore is the HATCH Next Gen program which sponsors teens/young adults to join the HATCH summit... mixed in with “adults.”Seeing a 16 year old sit and contribute shoulder to shoulder with a 61 year old is, well, just right if we are thinking about how to better the world. I am so inspired by their self-awareness, courage, and insane level of activism at such a young age. (So different from when I was in high school, where topics of conversation included Jake Ryan, esprit, or our team sports outcomes.) Thank you @yarrowk and HATCH for designing to integrate such diverse ages and perspectives. I need to step up! :) And how cool that someone is cycling to raise money for the Next Gen’s participation.
