Nic Tasker's 88 Transition show
Without wanting to appear to be exclusively suckling on NTS' chic outsider teet, but it seems that once again my premier listening experience of the last week comes from Nic Tasker's 88 Transition show. Rescinding his usual 4/4 inclinations he selects a handful of largely beatless tunes intended to nourish after the hectic festive season. Been meaning to post this for a while so the time for reflection and relaxation might already have given way to your new year hustle. Either way this is excellent, great stuff across the board from Robbie Basho and Karen Dalton to Special Request and Kode9.
