I just watched thank you for smoking and I've been reading recently of propublica articles where they talk about cell phone usage being dangerous and I think it's really funny how in the end Nick Naylor is teaching the cell phone lobby how to do it the way big tobacco did

Thank You for Smoking

A film that we all respect and cherish still, after over a decade, cannot be seen in high definition.

Jason Reitman’s 2005 classic comedic drama Thank You for Smoking is a charming and intriguing piece of cinema that is artistically reminiscent of great American filmmakers such as David Fincher and Wes Anderson, but has never gotten an HD release. I believe it deserves to be viewed in 1080p beside the many other spectacular pictures available in this format, but also that it should be preserved with this level of quality, as it is possible that a high definition scan of the picture does not even exist. If, in ten more years, Thank You for Smoking were only available in 480p (DVD quality) among the 4K or even 8-16K standard, it would be devastatingly regrettable.

I’ve decided to do my best to keep this picture from disappearing. If you could take a small amount of time to help me grant Thank You for Smoking its much deserved HD release, I and the history of cinema will thank you.
