Nick stood outside the door of the commune, taking in a few deep breaths before lifting their hand up to give a knock. They took a step back as they waited, hoping that maybe Blue would be the one to answer, and they wouldn't have to go through the awkwardness and anxiety of asking someone else if he was there.
In addition to working on his costume Nick had been working on some new experiments. Ones that weren't potentially dangerous as some of his experiments tended to be. He pulled one of the orbs from the satchel across his chest and against his hip, and pressed a button on it before launching it upward towards the sky. It went up, up and then exploded into a cloud of red and silver glitter that rained down.

"Ha- have umm have you seen anything you - you like?" Nick asked as the two walked amongst the booths, wondering if there had been anything of interest to the other. Whether that was something to purchase or trade for or it was one of the workshops people were offering.

"H-hi" Nick said as they opened the door after hearing the knock on the other side. They stepped aside, allowing the other to enter, and then gently closed the door behind them before locking it once again. The other had agreed to come over to help them out with dishes for Jamie and Clara's wedding. It was still in the early process of things. "The umm the kitch-kitchen's this way" Nick tugged on their bottom lip a little as they made a slight head gesture and then started over that way.

They were on their third maybe fourth song when Nick had found themself over by the stage. "She-she's amazing isn't - isn't she?" they asked their eyes transfixed on their big sister as she performed. It was the first time they'd ever really seen her up on a stage. Sure, Nick had seen her play before, had grown up watching her play music, same as she'd watched them, but this wasn't just playing. It was performing.

"Oh umm I - I like the snow" Nick replied, caught a little off guard at the question. "I don't umm - I don't think I'm going to die from sitting in the snow for a - for a bit" they bit their lip, glancing down for a moment as they took in a couple breaths. "Did - did you want to sit?" they asked, starting to take off the outer layer they had on over their sweater. "You can umm you can sit on this if you don't - don't want to sit on the snow"

"Hi umm sorry, sorry I've never really - I've never done this before." Nick stated as they watched the other, after he'd stepped inside the house. "Did you - I have water, would you like some water?" they asked, their voice soft and their fingers twitching some as they nervously played with their jacket that they hadn't taken off yet since coming inside. "I have not water too. I mean tea, I have tea. Would you like some tea?"

Nick thanked Jamie for the drink as he handed them a glass, and then quickly downed it as their nerves started to get to them. When Jamie had invited them to come over after work for a little bit, Nick had accepted, partially thinking that maybe it would be a good scenario to bring up the ration cards, but now that they were here, they weren't sure if they could do it. Confrontation had never been a skill they were good at.
