"Quand j’étais enfant, mon père avait lancé cette revue bimestrielle. Je m’aperçois aujourd’hui qu’il avait fait bosser René Gruau...😻 Sa signature est rognée à droite dans la coupe...🙀 J’avais gardé ce numéro car j’aimais bien le graphisme... J’ai rencontré beaucoup de décorateurs avec mon paternel car il m’amenait souvent à ses rendez-vous. Il était éditeur entre Dourdan et Paris. Nous, on vivait à la campagne et le jeudi j’allais avec lui à Paname au 112 rue d’Assas où il recevait ses auteurs. Il y avait un grand salon où nous, enfants, nous n’avions pas le droit d’aller. Ensuite c’était un rituel, il m’amenait déjeuner chez Marcel rue Stanislas, resto qui n’a pas changé... Ce cérémonial a commencé quand j’avais 4 ans et s’est arrêté quand je suis entré en 6eme. Souvent je pense à cette phrase de Rilke : « L’enfance est un destin »... J’ai peut-être rencontré René Gruau mais j’étais trop petit pour m’en souvenir..."
