Hey you! Yes, you! Have you been looking for new media with LGBT+ characters whose stories don’t revolve around those identities? You’ve come to the right place!
On nicoserial.blogspot.com you’ll find 3 different stories which update 3 Saturdays out of each month!
First is Yokaishiteru! This is a story heavily inspired by Love Live! School Idol Project, but wait, there’s more! While the main character, a demon summoned by the school’s occult club, is naively optimistic, her fellow idols are much more realistic about their chances. Despite the lack of idol qualities possessed by the blank-faced Mishio Oujouna, or the weightlifting champion Honoka Tosaka, Kamui is certain their bonds will shine through on stage... Assuming that these girls, some of whom have truly awful personalities, can find it in their hearts to form those bonds to begin with.
Then, there’s Checkboxes! A trimester before the beginning of Yokaishiteru, the students of Korekara Academy were in much worse shape; then came along Box Hako. A girl who’s had an experimental ‘robot guide’ in her head since childhood to help manage her mental illness, a recent upgrade to the guide has left her confused. It’s begun to give her oddly specific instructions on how to ‘save’ her classmates from all variety of terrible misfortune; and she’s following them.
Lastly, Akuma No Imouto! This one isn’t at Korekara Academy, but instead at a bar in Tokyo. It follows a pair of trans demon siblings, who are also both gay. The younger sister, Ryoji, owns a bar. Her brother Nagito is a walking disaster who got fired, dumped, and evicted all in one night, then came crying to Ryoji for a place to stay. Now he works at her bar, and together they delve into the deepest secrets of patrons in order to get free labor from a wizard.
These stories are the fruits of my hard work over the past ten years to hone my writing ability, and continuing effort to write 5,000+ words almost every week! So please, reblog this post, and consider reading! Even liveblogging maybe so your followers get curious! (If you do, please let me know, I love seeing reactions!) Please, I’m not asking for money or anything, just for support and enjoyment of my writing, so help out this trans author if you can!
