Guess who’s back from the dead and has nothing better to do during quarantine than take pictures of my animals!

So yeah, guess I’m back. Here are some of my lovely critters after this long dry spell.

Part of me is really thinking Percy might be part Ragdoll lol. He’ll literally flop and hang when picked up, of course then he gets playful then it’s finger biting time. But he’s so affectionate, he’ll follow me around the house and sit down next to me when I stop to do something. My all time favorite thing is when he climbs up my legs (ouch, I know) and head butts me before settling down on my shoulder while I support him.

I love this little guy to pieces! 💕💕💕

Guess. Who. Got. Shanghai-ed. Into. Two. Kittens!

So long story short, in an effort to find my mother a kitten, I some how(?) wound up accepting(?) three kittens from a vet tech? Like, I reread the texts and nowhere did I say I’d take all three, but after a few minutes of confusion, guilt(tripping), and defeat, I wound up taking them all home.

My mother got the only girl, her name’s Lily now, and she loves her to bits. She was looking for a cat so while it was a surprise, it wasn’t a surprise-surprise. And now we have another pair of siblings between us. My Ty and her Phoenix and now her Lily and our Church and Dodger (who dispite their very different looks I assume are from the same litter).

Dodger is the tabby that’s passed out with Percy. Church is the lil white one and looks most like Lily, tho he’s chunky. His full name is Churchill specifically because of his extra chunk. He’s a thick kitty and I mean a very big boned boy. His paws are huge and I wouldn’t be surprised if he hit 13-15 lbs when he grows up.

I wouldn’t have accepted them if I didn’t have the means of taking care of them and very understanding animals. We are looking for homes for them, but it’s a race against time since we’re getting more and more attached. Obviously Percy does well with them, Ty has started grooming them, they have no fear of Pat (my dog) who in turn is super gentle with them-they love chasing his tail. All the other cats have moved to the ‘old news’ stage and are going about their usual lives.

But these stinkers are too cute!

Here’s the tank sans the mood lighting lol. I’m super excited about this tank so it’s taking up a good chunk of my posts. Everyone seems to be enjoying it. 💚💚✨✨

Like, if you had told me 3 or 4 years ago that I’d be swooning over this cutey pie I’d have laughed. I’ve never wished I could hug an arachnid so much.

He’s not mine yet but I’m like 👌🏻 close to getting him lol.

Hey y’all!

Sorry for the lack of new posts, there hasn’t been much going on animal wise. Between work and working on my yard outside, I haven’t had time to get any good shots.

But, there are some things planned that I might post some progress pics of. Plus y’all haven’t seen my new pup, Patrick! So I’ll get him on here soon too.

Guess who became bbfls!

Ty and Pat have become a strange but now common pair and I couldn’t be happier. They play, sleep, and just hang out with each other and it honestly warms my heart.
