♙: Everyone has their soulmates names tattoo’d on their wrist
For over a millennium, Chris has born the name Selena A. on his wrists, written in delicate curling letters, and for over a millennium, Chris has waited, names changing until he settled on one Christopher Darcy in the early 40s. But till he waited, finding many Selena’s but never the one. They always bear names like Thomas or Joseph, and he is neither.
He forgets about it, once he moves to LA, content to live his life alone, serving his god and making beautiful pieces of art that will live on, just because he made it. Not even Annie, his one friend in his long years helps the ache that pulses inside him. His adopted sister however, isn’t content to let him be, and one day, the little wildcat manages to catch his arm and twist it, to see the faded black letters.
She doesn’t say anything but there is a mysterious grin on her face as she leaves to back to her orphanage.
Two days later he gets a call, asking him to come help out at the orphanage. He shrugs and agrees. When the day comes, he heads out, covered in soot and bits of metal, and the last thing he expects to find at the orphanage is a pretty feline with eyes as blue as flame and skin like the snow he loved. She introduces herself as Selena, and he’s reaching for her wrist, turning it over.
