Logan gets the flu, so he boards himself up in his room. He expects the others to leave him, but he is absolutely shocked when each of the sides visits him offering him something to help with the sickness. He is moved to tears.
If he was honest with himself Logan should have realized that his case of the sniffles was something more serious sooner, like perhaps two days ago when his body ached as if he had run a marathon. Or yesterday when his joints hurt to move, but in his defense he was busy. He had been working almost non-stop for the last week or so, and he just attributed the aches and pains to lack of sleep and pushed through. That brought him to day, where he was laying on the cool tile of the bathroom floor, contemplating wether or not it would be worth it to go back to his bed even though he knew he was simply going to feel unbearably nauseous again soon.
He was roused by his thoughts by the door to his room opening. Roman peeked inside and called out
“Brainiac are you in here? we haven’t seen you today and Patton’s getting worried.”
Logan let out a grunt and pushed himself up to a sitting position, then waiting for the wave of nausea the action brought to pass.
“I am, ultimately fine Roman, I uh,” Logan shook his head slightly trying to clear the fog inside his head so that he could speak, “I have come down with something, and I do not wish to infect you or the others. I am, thankful but am fine.”
Roman had come to stand in the door way to the bathroom and at the logical side’s disjointed sentence his brows furrowed and he looked closer at Logan.
“This is Not Fine, Pocket Protector! You look abysmal how long has this been going on?”
Roman gathered Logan in his arms and lifted him up, moving him back to the bed. When Logan didn’t reply other than a wince and a guilty expression, Romans eyes softened with sadness.
“Well nobody should have to be sick and alone, let me go get the others and we can watch one of your dorky documentaries.” At Logan’s distressed look, “We’ll sit on the couch, Logan but you shouldn’t have to go through this alone.”
Logan nodded and tried to pretend that he didn’t have tears in his eyes
((Well this turned out largely logince, Whoops))
