Ok, this are actually from what I can see, but I THINK (I think) she has hip dips, which I think is so cool.

She would be on a relationship with Darkstar (Robert Long). IT JUST MAKES SENSE TO ME, BCZ BOTH HER PARENTS ARE REALLY REALLY CLOSE TO DONNA, AND IF IT SOMEHOW MADE SENSE TO MAKE HER IBN'S GIRLFRIEND, WHY NOT ROBERT.

Tbh, she just doesn't show any affection to any boy asides from Ibn, her dad and her grandpa throughout the comics, and I am NOT going to ship her with Ibn now that Dick Grayson was officially adopted by Bruce Wayne... But due to THAT strong relationship, I can't deny she's into men. BUUUUT... destiny doesn't deny me to make her into girls... I MEAN, SHE BI-CODED. HER MOM IS PINK-HAIRED, HER DAD IS BLUE-HAIRED, AND SHE'S LITERALLY PURPLE-HAIRED. SHE'S BI.

Shadows

*sigh* *proceeds to make headcanons*

Ok, so in my last post, I talked about Nightstar's mischarecterization (however you write that). I strongly believe that Nightstar was under Nightwing's shadow as a kid (obviously, in the drawing she's not a kid, honest mistake). I have this headcanon bcz Nightwing is a GREAT FATHER, but... he's passed some trauma over to her lil baby.

The main trauma he's put her through was the whole distancing himself because she's the daily reminder of Starfire. WHICH IS A TRAIT HE INHERITED FROM BRUCE. Distancing himself with those you love, specially if it triggers some kind of emotional memory.

Which leads me to believe that Dick has never INTENTIONALLY put Mar'i through his own trauma (bcz despite Starfire's loss and everything, he still wanted to be with his daughter and be a good parent). BUT, I think at least for a little while he made Nightstar a Nightwing's sidekick.

Idk if anyone gets me, but yeahyeahyeah. Nightstar's independance was quicker than Robin's, but still hits hard.

Nightstar as a kid

I truly don't feel like people are making the right take on Mar'i as in her childhood. Because some people's take is that Nightstar's childhood happened on Tamaran.

Starfire grew old on earth until Dick and her got separated (not even divorced, just separated) and not long after that, she passed. Nightstar's take on Tamaran was that she was surprised to see the tranquility compared to earth, despite Tamaran being a planet for warriors. She got to see Tamaran for the first time when Starfire moved out, and she moved when Nightstar was a young adult. So when people make this take, I either think they haven't read the comics, or they made an au like @hains-mae who made the whole fam live on Tamaran.

This took a lot of writing, idk why, is not like they're committing a crime, I just feel the need to explain this 😭💔. I MEAN, IS NOT WRONG, OK? I WANT TO REPHRASE MY FIRST LINE. I feel they don't now the og take 😭
