My AFAA Visual Dictionary is still on its way but I've managed to find some of the pages scattered on the internet. (Credit to the first Varang page goes to twitter user @Lala_Ronallover, the nightwraith pages are from tiktok user @neytiri-tetskaha-moatite, the rest are mine.)
The Visual Dictionary seems to have a lot of new info about the characters, including more of Varang's backstory. Which is even more disturbing than just her family and clan perishing in the volcano. Turns out, only her mother died in the fire and Varang "disposed" *coughkilledcough* of her older sister and poisoned her father, the olo'eyktan, because she considered him weak. And she was only 15!!! Like damn, girl. Chill.
And the nightwraith (Ashley) is related to tetrapterons (makes sense), and it seems to be similar to toruk, in that it's very rare and really hard to tame. It's such a shame it was only a glorified mount in the movie. At least the toruk got some good fighting action. Wish we got a toruk vs nightwraith fight, though.
Edit: Added more pages on the Mangkwan! Also replaced the second Varang page with hopefully more readable one.
