Zero’s favorite food is vegetable soup manly because of Ichiru. Their mother would force more vegetables on them than necessary, and little Zero knew it was because his brother needed those nutrients to recover from his constant sick state — if he pretended he liked the soup, it would be easier for Ichiru to do the same.

In a matter of years the soup tasted better than it was supposed to, even if it’s just a sweet memory now. There aren’t many things he wouldn’t do to be able to have his Mother’s soup again, really, even if he is able to make one that tastes the same.

Unnecessary noise. White Lily isn’t the only reason why he would take naps in the stables or the garden around it — 90% of Cross Academy are girls drooling and squealing and screaming over vampires and if their own noise doesn’t give them headaches, Zero would rather stay away from it.

Being raised by Kaien Cross after his family was murdered might have started this problem.
