sneaking out of her room, chanel made sure to take her present box with her and made little to no noise as she moved around the house. she had been a little hesitant to text him, but it was his birthday after all and she truly wanted to wish him the best, even though they were not in the best place right now. she had no trouble picking a gift from him and she could only hope that it will bring a smile to his face. he was so beautiful when he smiled and she wanted to be the reason behind it, even if only for today. she probably shouldn’t have chosen heels if she wanted to stay silent, but she kept her steps light and hoped for the best. when she finally reached his door, she unlocked her phone, searched for 22 by taylor swift, and hit play, then waited for him to come out and flashed a genuine smile in his direction as the door had opened, whispering along taylor’s voice. “ i don’t know about you, but i’m feeling twenty-two. everything will be alright if you keep me next to youuuuu. ”
