steifvater’s not exactly subtle about him being her favourite/self-insert, so I guess it shows? i mean, personally I don’t dislike him, I like him quite a lot, he’s just not the type of character I feel drawn to in fiction.

but idk. the sheer number of people who fawn over him and forgive all his flaws while bashing adam for every little thing he’s done is kinda......

same!!! first 4 books were rly good after that it was just rly... weird idk they gave a very wrong feeling!! WOAH OMG tbh on websites i would always have 'fowl' somewhere in my usernames omg... (and yeah I noticed that abt opal... why is that)

yeahhhh i think it’s just that colfer had already established like a universe with fairies and stuff and their limitations and then all of a sudden with book 5 he introduced demons?? and we’re never sure exactly the extent of what they can do? and yeah idk it was just so different ... omG YES HAHA and i like learned the gnommish at the bottom of the books and decoded everything and my friends bought me book 8 and the artemis fowl files thing i still have it all lol

ahh i love holly so much omg and mulch!! i loved the whole farting thing lol and the part where Butler was killed was in book 3 (ahh i loved the eternity code)

yeahhh tbh the series went downhill pretty much after the third or fourth book... like the demons thing was kinda weird and didn’t really mesh w/ the universe that well and then there was this time traveling thing in the sixth were he kisses holly and the seventh he gets this mental illness where he is somehow scared of the number four?? and gets multiple personalities.... lol YES I HAD A CRUSH ON HIM TOO  oh my god my first ff.net username was “underestimatedgenius” oh my goddddd
