recapping my fav moments as i catch up with nintama (so basically just any Monjirou's moment):
When Hama was choosing his committee by lottery, I love how Mikiemon is the only junior among all the sixth year's presidents who were present. Either Monjirou roped him in or Mikiemon willingly volunteered because he is just as desperate for new recruits so the accounting committee can actually get some sleep, or because Hama is his roommate (I think?) which makes it sweet that he wants him together in the same committee. Look at him clasping his hands and all..................
I also love the idea that Mikiemon is slowly morphing into Monjirou jr. because he really does act like his right hand man in the committee, more so than juniors in other committees.
Recapping my fav moments as I catch up with Nintama:
THIS EPISODE IS SO CUTE WOW EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH NINTAMA TO SOOTHE THEIR SOUL
I've always loved the trio's part time jobs episodes so this one is no exception. Watching the third movie got me wondering if I missed some backstory episodes of Chouji and Doi sensei because while I know he's one of the more soft-hearted student in sixth year, I didn't quite get why he's *that* affected by Monjirou's implication until I watched this episode and remembered DUH. IT'S BECAUSE HE'S THINKING ABOUT KIRIMARU. Chouji cares so deeply for Kirimaru and his wellbeing and this ep really brought that dynamic to the forefront. ;_;
Also, Monjirou in his supervisor mode asking Kirimaru to go ahead.... my guy ily.... Funnily enough I once saw a jp fan commented that while Monjirou usually takes the lead for the entire 6th year, when he's only around Chouji and Koheita he kinda acts like a younger brother and you know what, I see it I see it. He does become more easy going during the part time jobs (maybe because he's finally free from the accounting room) and also defer a lot more to Chouji and Koheita in decision-making, just like in this ep.
I still don't know why they didn't just push the cart to the town's outskirt and deal with the bandits there asdsfsf but maybe because the distance is too close it could still bring harm to the townspeople? Maybe??
Also saw another comment saying the trio is probably from a well-off families because they never seem that concerned with their part-time payment, and this ep highlighted that lmao...
