The thug collapsed to the floor, allowing him his first clear glimpse of the person who had fallen back into the corner. A clearly relieved expression, dark hair, glasses askew that were promptly adjusted — cute. Nevertheless, he couldn't help the buzz of curiosity that arose the second he noticed one black eye, and one that was a light yet radiant blue. Was it an artificial type that Poe had never seen before?
Met next with stumbling words, he gave an amused lift of his eyebrows ( scratch that prior assessment, very cute ). Taking the hand that this stranger, Lodi, offered to him, he gave it a firm shake before using the grip to pull his new acquaintance fully upright the rest of the way. "I'm Poe." At the expectant trill that came from behind him, Poe jerked his thumb over his shoulder. "That's BB-8." Then, a grin appeared along his lips. "But I don't know, I'd say it's a pleasure especially in the circumstances. Glad I was able to help."
