Riecky Lu 瑞奇, violinist/vocalist/synth player from Nineteentael 十九兩, Smokering 煙圈樂團, etc., posted that she ‘finally updated’ her personal site -- looks like she added a bunch of audio files!

Nineteentael 十九兩 and Macbeth 馬克白 did a show together at Witch House on Friday, and Wendy Chen was in the front row, uploading before the last notes had echoed away... =D

Achino Chang 張瀚中 (Nineteentael, Waa Wei, etc., etc., etc.) is back on DigiLog 聲響實驗室 -- earlier this week, they posted a guided tour of his various keyboards (see below) and today, they posted a demonstration/explanation of his various accordions.
I know this is not a general interest topic, but I figure you see him onstage in so many clips we have posted, it’s nice to get some understanding of his craft and gear. =D

Nineteentael 十九兩 and 糯米糰 Sticky Rice
This episode of The Next Big Thing was shot in January of 2014, and there is no audience (filmed on a soundstage?) but it has subtitles! =D
For years, I’ve been wanting to have some idea of what’s going on in a Nineteentael story-song, and this is very helpful! Well, the dialogue is going by too quickly for the auto-caption-translate to be perfect. Even if you don’t know the language, I think you can tell when a lyric-translation looks accurate, somewhat accurate, or way off. I’d say at least 50% of the translation is very good. And as I mentioned, certain passages go by so quickly, the translation just kinda flashes by before you can read it.
Here is Nineteentael from The Next Big Thing TW in 2012, maybe the first time I ever heard them. As far as I can tell, this is a full version of the song 探長馬提諾 Detective Martino, lots of story and dialogue and laughs from the audience at Legacy:
In the newly uploaded performance, they do an abbreviated version of Detective Martino, going straight into The Ghost and Me (?) and another song or two after.
By the way, besides the Nineteentael-Sticky Rice video, it looks like StreetVoiceTV YouTube channel has just posted new CC subtitled videos for a bunch of their clips this week, 21 total! =D
Another song from NineteenTael 十九兩 at Offline Cafe. This is a piece by composer Astor Piazzolla called Libertango.

Hard to choose one song from a NineteenTael 十九兩 gig, the material can be so diverse, what song is representative of the band? Anyway, they did a few short songs, and one piece (凡爾賽宮的蘿莉塔 Palace of Versailles Lolita (?) that was well over 30 minutes long. (the entire clip was 43 minutes in length, but I think the first section was a different song, ‘cos I’ve heard them play it a few times before.
This is one of the short clips, a cover of a song by the band 糯米糰 (Sticky Rice). Wendy Chen has the full set uploaded. By the way, they had help on bass guitar during Versailles Lolita, if anyone could tell me his name, I’d appreciate it! =D
UPDATE: Riecky posted a clip from this gig on her YT channel, crediting the bass player as Wave from the band Macbeth 馬克白.
DigiLog sound laboratory invited Achino Chang 張瀚中 from NineteenTael 十九兩 (and Waa Wei and Lovely Baby) to come in and make an electronic beat in 10 minutes or less, and then explain (with English subtitles) what gear he used and how he used it. DigiLog has a lot of videos posted, including studio tours and synth/gear lectures, including a class taught by Achino back in January.
