Grabbing a small holo-display from a pouch strapped to her thigh, she linked into the tech, uploading the map she’d developed so far. The little display shimmered to life as she moved back to the medic, the scans she’d just done displayed as a green, semi-transparent, three-dimensional image. “So, here’s what I have so far. You can see the shape of the room and the spaces between the inner and outer walls. That fuzziness between them is whatever you’ve got for insulation, and then these smaller lines,” and she increased the size of the display, “show all your piping and wiring.” She smiled reassuringly. “So far, so good. Only one entrance at this point, right here,” and she touched the door, the green display shifting to yellow. “It’d be best to go from room to room where the walls are contact points so the map can generate properly.”
As for the request about the perimeter, “We can increase the scope to around 120 to 150 feet and set up cameras for all three main entrances, which would in turn be linked to either terminals within the building or to your own systems,” she offered. “The vents can have motion sensors installed, although we’d have no problem setting up a patrol team of mechaniloids that double as maintenance staff.” The spider mechaniloids Inshou was so fond of had been a large part of how and why he’d mapped all of the alternative routes through Neo Arcadia Tower, though, as far as Heather was concerned, those maps were only a Tower myth.
