How is Morro bio father doing? (I feel so sorry for the guy)
He's not really doing great. Following Metis and Morro's banishment Sotiris(he has a name now!) was in a home arrest basically, his every move was watched and he was miserable. Metis and he had tried to fight her banishment but there was not even a trial as everyone had been witness to Fenwick revealing baby Morro having the element of wind. At that point he had tried to join them in their banishment, but rules of Cloud Kingdom were clear and Fenwick was cruel. He'd been separated from his family before the wind masters even left the realm. It wasn't until there was nothing he could do that Fenwick and everyone else left him alone. For a while he just grieved.
And then he wanted to make Fenwick pay. So he worked to gain as much power as he could, giving his everything into becoming a huge nuisance for Fenwick. It wasn't easy with Fenwick and his council hindering him as well as the reputation he gained in his community following the whole banishment thing, but he did gain some authority and allies. Noone who would choose him over Fenwick though because the master writer made sure his own reputation was perfect. Just as Morro was determined to be the green ninja, Sotiris was determined to make Fenwick's life a living hell.
He only knew of Morro's fate when the entire realm started panicking over a ghost with the wind element escaping the Cursed realm and apparently trying to find the realm crystal. Very briefly did he consider trying to help Morro's cause behind the scenes but did not. It was not possible in his circumstances nor was he THAT miserable(mainly bc of Metis' much younger sister and her family. Rhea and her wife took care of him.)
The only thing of Fenwick's that Sotiris did not object to is the efforts that went into convincing the rest of the Cloud Kingdom into not looking for Morro's scroll once Possession happened. Sotiris knew if the scroll was found, Morro would be banished back (and suffer a fate worse than death. Sotiris does not know the extent of it but Preeminent would consume his soul. There would be no other afterlife or rebirth for Morro. He would simply cease to exist). After Possession, Sotiris actively started working on getting Fenwick removed from his position, which was easier now that he had the support of Nobu and all the other people that witnessed Fenwick bring in ghosts to their realm + whoever was writing ninja's fates in that moment. Fenwick's own scroll was incriminating evidence AND Fenwick was in no condition to fight back as he was dealing with injuries from Nimbus. (His allies did not do shit for him lmao. Fenwick's blackmail on them would become pretty pointless if they got rid of the guy and anyway the case was pretty clear on Fenwick having a past of crimes.)
Afterwards, Sotiris made sure the new master writer and their council would not be the now banished Fenwick's old allies with ill intentions and retired. Some years after Possession/DotD Rhea had a daughter with gray eyes. A color Sotiris recognized as a wind master trait and not the usual Cloud Kingdom eye color. He dug up the vengestone piece he had put on his own baby years ago and when Euphrasia did indeed turn out to be a wind master(following the Merge) told her of his wife and son and tried to help her to the best of his abilities. Admittedly, his story did scare Euphie into hiding her powers but it's not like he was wrong.
I have two endings for him:
He died of old age prior to DR s1 and got to reunite with Metis in the Spectral lands before they both moved on together. Probably had a chat with Morro too. A very awkward chat.
He is still around but taking a well-deserved break. Any research he does nowadays is now not for revenge and politics but out of curiosity. Not quite at peace with the unjust fate of his family but has accepted it and knows he can't change what happened.
(As for him in the Second Wind AU, well, it's different. You'll see if he's even alive in the sequel)
