considering living the dream and how inclusive the game is in terms of queer rep (I'm not saying it's revolutionary but the options we got are pretty good considering it's a nintendo game) we could totally get canon pearlina very soon.
I think it would be really really funny if it's confirmed in raiders but like as a quick throwaway piece of dialogue that comes up randomly. imagine talking to frye and her just saying
"oh by the way, do you know pearl and marina? the idols? yeah, they're married and they kiss each other. and they're both girls."
