Laluan kontra di Km12.55 hingga Km13.55 akan dibuka
KUALA LUMPUR, 24 September:
Satu laluan kontra akan dibuka di KM12.55 hingga KM13.55 arah utara di antara Shah Alam ke Subang di Lebuhraya Baru Lembah Klang (NKVE) selama dua hari bermula hari ini.
Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (Plus) dalam satu kenyataan berkata laluan itu dibuka mulai 10 malam sehingga 5 pagi bagi membolehkan kerja pemasangan rasuk di jambatan merentasi Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang.
PLUS menasihati semua pemandu yang menggunakan laluan itu supaya mematuhi semua papan tanda serta arahan yang diberikan pihaknya.

3 men killed in pick-up truck crash near Taiping
TAIPING, July 6:
Three men were instantly killed when their pick-up truck heading northbound skidded and overturned at Km200.5 of the North South Expressway near Kamunting, Taiping.
The incident happened about 3.40pm today.
Fire and Rescue Department senior officer Zahari Mohd Kassim said the victims were thrown out of their vehicle when it overturned.
A fourth person was also flung out, but survived with injuries.
“The vehicle also hit a drain alongside the highway as it flipped, “ he said.
It took the firemen about two hours to clean up the scene.
In another case, a child was killed after a car and a container truck were involved in a collision along the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) near the Subang exit this evening.
Highway workers at the scene said the car, a grey Myvi, was heading towards Klang when the accident occurred about 5pm at Km13.5.
It is believed that the car hit the rear of a lorry.
A tow truck driver, who was removing the car, said the car had several passengers.
“The child, a girl about 10 years old, died on the spot while the rest of the passengers were hospitalised.
“It’s such a pity as Hari Raya is coming soon,” the tow truck driver told The Rakyat Post.
The accident led to a one-hour traffic jam that stretched several kilometres.
