There was already a glut of supposedly Conscious Black Men sharing Right-Wing memes, articles, & views on social media, but the pandemic has greatly increased this disturbing trend. I've regrettably observed the prevalence & popularity of Right-Wing & Chavunistic ideas & behaviors within the Black Conscious Community since I joined the Struggle for Black Liberation. Fascism was invited as a salve for wounded male egos on a national scale & the egos of BM have been ravaged for generations. Black Fascism is real, & needs to be acknowledged, right now it's mostly a mimicry of White Nationalism, but it has the potential to take on a life of its own. Although I avoided scumming to Right-Wing propaganda & ideology during my political development, I was Chavunistic & it took a lot of time & effort to fully purge the Judeo-christian indoctrination (that my Chavunism was rooted in), which started during my infancy. So I do sympathize with these individuals, cuz I was once one of them. That being said, I am conflicted on how to deal with these stupid muthafuckas....I mean...these misguided individuals. I spend too much time countering their delusions, without success, but I hope community members who see our exchanges gain some insights & clarity on the issues. I sometimes block them if they are too virulent to bother with, most of the time I just use them as a barometer of how deep Right-Wing Propaganda has penetrated our communities. But I think more people need to join this fight. If you see someone who's constantly parroting Right-Wing talking points don't let it slide. Do or say something, block em & let them know way, share corrections to their bullshit in the comments, expose them & their delusions to the larger community. Don't allow them to fester or take hold in your physical or digital spaces. I know I'm not, but sometimes I feel like I'm fighting this battle alone. Black Empowerment, Black Liberation, & Black Unity is an exclusively Leftist endeavour. Right-Wing Ideology & Behaviors are subversive to the interest & agends of the Black community & must be stamped out.
