She’s trash at cooking! Never had a chance to cook for herself, was either too poor to, or eventually grew to have people that do that for her. She can grab what’s finished and pack it up real nice. I don’t think she’ll burn water exactly, but one might have to be patient when teaching her how to cook.

Best at self care versus most self destructive 

I’d say Gabriel is the best at self care. He acknowledges his flaws and is able to shrug it off. Sure, he wants to better himself but it takes a lot of time. He doesn’t have Aisha’s patience but he has enough confidence he’ll get there eventually that he doesn’t sweat it when something doesn’t go his way due to a flaw. He also has a very particular hair routine that drives the others nuts. 

Kayla’s probably next in line for that. You put in what you want out, so she’s outwardly kind and that way of thinking bounces back to her. There’s nothing wrong with a sweet or two once in a while when you’re feeling down. And at her age she may have otherwise childish interests like stuffed animals, but part of growing up is dropping that stupid forced stigma of hating “kiddy things” because you “you have to grow up.” 

Andy and Dolores are equally self destructive. Andy always has a ‘something to prove’ attitude and gets into all sorts of scraps and hijinx as a test of power and it leaves her banged up and bruised. Both girls put themselves down, but Andy has the added challenge of putting up an optimistic front while Dolores is a more negative person but says and thinks of the worst. Dolores also rarely sleeps, feeling the need to constantly be on guard for any danger to the others so she can rise to action. 

Teddy’s a special case because this idiot is learning dark magic and while it’s not the actual worst thing you can do it does have some downsides he is not yet aware of which can worsen his health if he goes to far. Perseverant or not, it’s pretty dumb to rely on that trait and it’s sheer arrogance that would be his downfall. But he also has poor sleeping habits from staying up studying and reading.

Oh so like (small headcanon) Andy, when using the mix-in sweet ice tea stuff, would just keep adding and adding the powder. Because that stuff is really sweet

Aisha smells like watered down classic perfume and crisp ironed clothes. Andy smells like sweet musk, like sweat and body spray. Gabe smells like rain and salt. Teddy smells like soap and old books. Kayla smells like warm bread. Dolores smells like flowers and gunpowder.

Gabe’s pretty jealous of Teddy. Gabe is a type of person who envies other people’s skills and tries to do it himself to seem smarter or more well liked and it works with mixed results. He does it with a lot of people, actually, but Teddy is one of the few he admires that dislikes him so strongly, which makes him think higher of him, and think more petty, jealous feelings. He thinks Teddy’s naturally a genius, and honestly thinks the purple soul is really cool and is a lot of things he isn’t. Like tall, dark, and handsome. He’s just short, pale, and pretty. He wants to be manly, dammit! And tall, and smart and stuff!! People can take him seriously!! But not Gabe. 

He likes his soulmate plenty, but knows Teddy can’t stand him, but if it’s one thing Gabe has that Teddy doesn’t, is a magnetic personality. He’ll come around someday. And when he does, he hopes he could be like him. It’s better than being Gabe, after all.
